Working to a very tight deadline, a team consistent of personnel from both Roperhurst and Plastratum attended our client’s site in Scotland to carry out a pit lining during a planned maintenance stop.
The pit was approximately 25m long, 8m wide and 1.5m deep with a sump in one corner.
Our experienced personnel lined the pit using sheets of PE300 black polyethylene. Where possible we had fabricated sections in the factory to reduce site time, and then completed the installation using extrusion welding techniques.
